Christmas blogging

Lollypops are logical

Exams are now, more or less over. Its christmas, and that means any sane person would spend their time relaxing. Not me though. I’ve decided that i want to get a PhD. position as soon as possible, and because of that, i have piles and piles and piles of texts and books that i need to get through. However i am also finding time for other things. Currently i am trying to set up a new video section of this site. I often find that recording a two minute video with me ranting, is faster than sitting here typing out a blogpost. However being the perfectionist that i am in regards to video, i need it to be….well… perfect. So i am currently working on animating an intro and outro sequence, as well as creating some music for the video cast.

But Christmas is approaching fast, and that means that its time for my usual Christmas activity of re-playing old games that i really like. Its not really something i plan, but every year around Christmas i just feel like digging into those game that really mean something for me. This year its Fallout 3 which i have been wanting to replay since i played through it last year. Then its a bit of Warhammer Online, because i miss it. And then i will be doing my best to get through Deus Ex as well. On top of that i still have to play through Borderlands ,Operation Flashpoint 2, Zombie driver, Plants Vs. Zombies, Torchlight, Drakes fortune, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Dragon Age: Origins…. yes… i have WAY to many games that i need to play. I guess its the curse of being a game academic. On that note i also just launched another blog. It has absolutely no content and won’t be updated regularly, but it will be the place where i talk and write about game theory. This blog here didn’t really seem like the place to do that. You can find the new blog at http://www.rasmusboserup.com . When the new video stuff gets launched i might rewamp everything and put it all on that site…not sure i have time to blog that much in the coming year…since i will be focusing on getting a couple of articles published in the game theory journals.

I hope to be able to blog some more before the new year (wow, has it been 10 years already since New Years eve 2000? I remember it like yesterday)

If i don’t get to do more blogging by then, then i wish you all a very merry Christmas with no zombies in it ;-)
